A Lasting Hope
Born in the early seventies, Brent has never been a stranger to music. The tradition goes back many generations, on both sides of the family, back to Buster Keaton even. In the early 80’s he picked up the violin and shortly after, his father’s guitar and stared what would be a long journey of music and life experience.
Having spent the past decade “soul searching” in the desert, Brent has refined his skills, taught future artists and engineers, and found himself. Out of this experience comes his latest offering, “No trees to hug”. This is a collection of songs written, arranged, recorded, and mastered in Arizona. A testament to what he has learned.
With “No trees to hug” in the can, Brent packed up his studio and moved his family back to his home town in Texas. He has offered a special dedication to Dave Grohl and hopes to someday find his “Foo Fighters” to take out and not only play what he has created so far, but take back in the studio to bring more musical offerings to the listening audience.
