This fresh young band from the East Valley of Phoenix, Arizona, promises to surprise. A combination of the late 50's cooked up with a little bit of today's alternative spice, True Belgium displays a pool of real talent. Though fresh faced and low on experience, this band brings a musical talent to the table matched by few new bands to the market.
Their debut release, “A Divine Image” is a throwback to early rock and punk. Making a statement to the world around us, True Belgium lays it all out for the listening audience. With producer Brent William at the helm, the boys put in many hours in a hot studio to puond out the rough spots and bring their first musical creation to the table.
Though released on June 24th, 2008, through McCort Entertainment and CPWSRadio.com, a rare version of the CD could be bought at their release party at the Blackbird Music and Arts Center. These one time copies were also signed by the band for those purchased that night.
